I had a student from Dayton on Saturday morning for a Moebius Bowl lesson from Cat Bordi’s book, Second treasury of Magical Knitting… Oh what fun it is to teach others how to do the cast on with the bowl.It is magic as Cat says.My student inspired me to knit the tri-fold felted bowl. I decided to knit it in the colors of the sample in the book. It turned out so fabulous. I used Harmony by Iron stone yarns which I think is one of the best yarns to use for felting..Give the pattern a whirl you’ll love it.

Handmade Volkswagen Bug Cozy, one of a kind. This was the most-est fun project I have been connected to in a long time..a hand knit “VW car cozy”….we all need one you know!
Each peice was knit and then sewn together and stablized on netting. A number of other people also made the adornments to go on the car cozy. It was bedecked and bejeweled for dispay at Winter Fair Art show and sale.

Miss N.Babe was the most fun to make. It is for a most special friend…with all the special colors we liked and laughs…Of course she is made out of alpace (the most favorite of all fibers to date.)She has red hair so Miss N.Babe has red hair (although now my red sweater will be short sleeved which is a good thing) A teal pattern-on-pattern skirt with ruffley hem and of course matching green and teal shoes…just to die for.Of course you saw her posing in the almost all-together..

Also you have got to check out the World’s Best Felted Slippers (as proclaimed by my son)- it was nearly impossible tearing Arthur (the cat) away from them. And Look at Miss Devine in the back ground—Oh so attentive to the whole thing–
