talk about lost, my computer has been”down ” for 5 weeks or so.. sometimes it would work and most of the times not. Information came in but not out…. The modem was burned/melted in a section ( I think that was the right term) Time Warner came out (2 trucks and 2 very nice people) and fixed it, but said to call back and have someone come and re-wire the incomming cables —so now it is catch up time…so bear with me I’ll be posting more soon
what a crazy month this has been..sock club yarn arrived for the Dec 6th meeting and ooooooo looks like.. oh won’t tell ,but love it…OSU beat that team. what’s their name??? got to see it on a projection screen -was that fun almost as good as being there plus I could knit and eat too ..I got Jane Sowerby’s book ,”Victorian Lace Today”. It is a beautifully done book and so inspirational. I have 3 earmarked, not started but, on the list.Finished Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Baby Surprise Sweater It sure came back why it is such a fun project it is to do.Look up KnittingColor by Brandon Mably I think it is interesting. Speaking of color..If you ever get a chance to take a color class from Ruth Lantz do so for sure. She is a great teacher ..Any one interested in sending book reviews or projects you are working on or want to let me know.. would love to know.
A friend came by this week to help me with ideas for the blog and to help with the computer…I am still in awwww about the computer — I still think it is a space alien tool with little people inside doing all the work… (I wish there were)…my friend is a good knitter it has been fun watching her tackle new projects and ideas… and she finds the computer quite easy… I don’t think I have those jeans but am bound to become better . she really gave me so much help and (after laughing about my file-ing system )offered to organize my flies for me some day… of course I said oh yes to that…can hardly wait for the next lesson..
