New Pathways for Sock Knitters: Book One (Perfect Paperback)

I hope you all have seen the new sock book by Cat Bordhi. Socks with a twist… fun and different way to look at making socks..I can hardly wait to dig in try them out.. will keep you posted

I returned from Stitches Midwest last week and I am still processing all the information…From new ways to do knit braids, and teaching techniques to remember. There were New yarns and colors I am thinking about for sock club.
I took classes from Nancy Bush for the entire week… I had never done it that way before and it turned out to be a good idea.. You get use to a way of teaching and sometimes that makes it easier to process through new projects that are presented. I took Estonian Lace, Vintage Socks, and Knitted Braids which I loved… some new twists to add to my knitting. The Market was good as usual, and I shocked myself, I bought 2 knitting books and NO Yarn … I still can’t get over that one myself, NO Yarn!!! The Student/Teacher dinner on Saturday night was very enjoyable . Some of the Students modeled beautiful Lace shawls and scarves…….. breathtaking work. I know they were inspired by Jane Sowerby book, Victorian Lace Today.
