A friend came by this week to help me with ideas for the blog and to help with the computer…I am still in awwww about the computer — I still think it is a space alien tool with little people inside doing all the work… (I wish there were)…my friend is a good knitter it has been fun watching her tackle new projects and ideas… and she finds the computer quite easy… I don’t think I have those jeans but am bound to become better . she really gave me so much help and (after laughing about my file-ing system )offered to organize my flies for me some day… of course I said oh yes to that…can hardly wait for the next lesson..

been away from the blog too long… time passe too fast. The sock club is really going well.
A lot to do … patterns and color choices for new yarn there is so much available out there it can be hard to narrow down choices for the up coming projects… even though it is a lot of work, It is a lot of fun too. There are some very talented sock knitters in the group and some very novice

I am waiting for the e-mails to come back with the votes on the “to be named sock club”
so far no name has received more than one vote… is that telling me that everyone is voting for their own name ????? could be…There is a prize involved for the one with the most votes…I am having a hard time knitting right now with writting patterns for the sock club and for some custom sweaters, but I have a really great editor friend helping me put the words right.. this pattern for Nov is fun with a good rhythm to follow. onward

So much has happend since I have been on here updating … I have been dealing with water “issues” in my house (we’re talking gallonsssss) Now I have found (thanks to a dear friend) someone who is solving the problem—finally…. in the mean time….I have been talking to so may yarn suppliers and dyers…. oh what a wonderful world that is… I have learned so much about what it takes to put those beautiful colors on wool and wool blends….I think it is just magic how it all comes together . I think I just might have to to dye some wool…..The sock club now has a lot of options available..Everyone has been so helpful… I received the yarn for Nov. It is fun and colorful and a guage of about 8sts per inch . A bit smaller than the last time.It is just the best being able to picking out colors and weight, writing the patterns for each month’s sock club selection..with some very good helpers i might add….
