Had one of the Best Days yesterday… another b-day but that is secondary..Frederick picked me up and the two of us went to see Chihuly at the Franklin Park Consevatory.. It was a perfect day for pictures.. warm-ish and sun Frederick got some beautiful pictures soon to be posted on his site Vequias.com worth a look.. Then we met Amy at Panera and had lunch. she brought the computer and Frederick showed the pictures of the day… while we had lunch …(I noticed a couple of others enjoyed the pictures too –it is always good to share)

what a crazy month this has been..sock club yarn arrived for the Dec 6th meeting and ooooooo looks like.. oh won’t tell ,but love it…OSU beat that team. what’s their name??? got to see it on a projection screen -was that fun almost as good as being there plus I could knit and eat too ..I got Jane Sowerby’s book ,”Victorian Lace Today”. It is a beautifully done book and so inspirational. I have 3 earmarked, not started but, on the list.Finished Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Baby Surprise Sweater It sure came back why it is such a fun project it is to do.Look up KnittingColor by Brandon Mably I think it is interesting. Speaking of color..If you ever get a chance to take a color class from Ruth Lantz do so for sure. She is a great teacher ..Any one interested in sending book reviews or projects you are working on or want to let me know.. would love to know.

Wed was the sock club’s Nov meeting … oh was it good!! The name was voted on by e-mail and it is pure and simple Named by KyleAnn W.  The Sock Club it is!! Thank you all .The yarn and sample turned out great..the colors (confetti) are just the ticket. I am glad the gauge was smaller this time. I have one sock done is the Purling Spiral Pattern sorry I still can’t get pictures transfered to this site yet..help I need another lesssson…for sure…. !!!!. My friend just called me from Stitches East and said that there were some new booths there and got their cards for me to look at their yarn ..although this yarn for nov. is going to be hard to beat…color and yarn. The sock  group is really great, I learn from them too..
