crankygrlllll.com has a tutorial and images on her blog worth reading. She has knitted socks from the toe up finishing at the top of the leg with a rib. Traditional cast offs can be very tight and too showy. The cast off she is using is one of my favorites, the invisible cast off. It is elastic and flows into the rib pattern. talk about lost, my computer has been”down ” for 5 weeks or so.. sometimes it would work and most of the times not. Information came in but not out…. The modem was burned/melted in a section ( I think that was the right term) Time Warner came out (2 trucks and 2 very nice people) and fixed it, but said to call back and have someone come and re-wire the incomming cables —so now it is catch up time…so bear with me I’ll be posting more soon
